Why choose ENROUSH tampons?

Tampons are the best choice when you have an active lifestyle (whether you do it at a performance level or just recreational/maintenance). When you're always on the run you'll feel more comfortable using internal protection during your period. Whatever your reason for choosing tampons, make sure you opt for the safest products. ENROUSH tampons are exclusively made of 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton. We also use 100% organic cotton to make the string bio-degradable, biodegradable polythene for the individual wrapping of the tampon and recyclable boxes for the packaging. No chemicals & no hidden ingredients.

Are ENROUSH tampons bleached?

No. No bleaching, nor any other chemicals are used in the composition of ENROUSH tampons.

How do I use the tampons?

The simple rule applies here too: practice makes practice and you will notice from one period to the next that inserting a tampon becomes more and more comfortable. But if you're not used to this method of protection, here's a short guide to using tampons:
1. Wash your hands and sit in a comfortable position (knees slightly bent or genuflecting).
2. Tear off the tampon wrapper and remove only the bottom of the tampon, then unroll the cotton thread.
3. Place your index finger on the crooked end of the tampon and push gently, just enough for the tampon to "wrap" your finger very gently.
4. With the tampon thus secured on your finger, identify the entrance to the vagina.
5. Also remove the top of the wrapper and relax the vaginal muscles by gently inserting the tampon.
For comfort, make sure your finger enters the vagina with the tampon about 2 cm into the vagina.
6. Leave the thread out and wash your hands.
Throw the wrapper (or old tampon) in the bin.
Remember to change your tampon every 4 hours - up to a maximum of 8 hours, to avoid the risk of developing Toxic Shock Syndrome.

What tampon size should I use?

Enroush organic cotton tampons come in 3 sizes: mini, normal and super - similar to the conventional tampons you probably already know.
The size should always reflect the abundance of your menstrual flow. Use mini (low absorption) tampons for low flow days at the beginning and end of your period, choose normal (medium absorption) or super (high absorption) tampons during heavy flow days.
Be careful not to use a super tampon on low flow days, thinking it will protect you more effectively. And don't choose a very low absorbency one just because you're afraid of developing TSS. Tampons can only give you reliable protection if used correctly, changed EVERY 4 HOURS or even sooner. If you have a heavy flow, either use extra external protection - with a daily pad or a low flow pad or change your tampon every 2 hours.
PONT ENROUSH: in a box of tampons (16 pcs) you can choose different tampon sizes to suit your menstrual flow and lifestyle.

How often should I change my tampon?

It is advisable to change tampons every 4 hours to avoid developing TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome). Never leave it in for more than 8 hours.

Can I use a tampon if I’m a virgin?

Of course you can! Tampons function the same for both virgins and sexually active people. The female hymen is elastic enough to support a tampon without causing a rupture.
Tampons may feel harder to insert when you are a virgin, this is why picking a smaller size and having patience & relaxing while putting the tampon in will make the process smooth and easy.

Where are ENROUSH tampons made?

Our tampons are carefully produced in Germany, with the highest standards of quality. Production units are all ISO 9001 certified and all of our plants have BRC certifications in safety and design.
